Death is not an excuse

First I made a simple rough sketch during warmup before work. Time after time I came back to it and after a few sessions the plot appeared. Then I decided to learn something new and add a little motion to this illustration.
I stuck for a month with Blender, After Effect and Premiere to get a satisfying result.
And here you go, the final version of my 2d-3d illustration called 'Death is not an excuse'!

P.S. Pay attention to the details. You will find my failures somewhere and some of them will help you to get the point.
